Pet Donation Idea

I have an idea/suggestion that I would like to toss out there to see if it can grow legs.

We all know how expensive donation pets are and I have no problem with that at all.  I was thinking that it is hard to justify spending that large of a donation on something that you can't tell how strong it is.

What I envision is a vendor selling temporary copies of the different donation pets for a reasonable price (50k?).  The vendor would only be available for a few days and all of these new pets would be deleted after another few days.  We could have this vendor available quarterly or semi-annually. 

I think that if more players had a taste of how nice these pets are, that they would be much more likely to donate and purchase.

Would have to be tight. A lid on it.

Or players would just rent a shimmer for 50k anytime they wanted to hunt. hehe.

True, maybe limit it to one of each type one time or something like that?...Nigel

I'd say would be good to get like 1 and a half hour test on it then it disappears. Enough time to do a champ for example. And can only buy all of them once and the vendor would disappear in a day or two.

Exactly.  I think that simply getting rid of the vendor and removing all of these 'copy-pets' would be easiest but I'm not coding it. 

Just a taste would hook people!

I like the idea of being able to rent them. But i can see alot of problems rising from it.
