i got to re-download the client and patch it over again.
about 3 hours of precious gametime lost.

Yep just starting the patch process..
Incidently its not all free shards effected, The uo gamers shards all seem un affected ..

I just did this. I'm new to the shard and just downloaded the client on the pandora site then the patch program auto updated the client to 709. Now I can connect to Pandora and create a character but when it try to enter the world no actual game window opens up.

How do I stop the client autopatching to 709?

Just hit cancel when you see the numbers on the autopatch get at like 707, 708 - you will see it in the text field while it's downloading stuff

Patch to 7.0.8.2 and use the latest razor. There will be no problem.

LOL, this just killed my weekend. Decided to join uogamers or Pandora. Tried uogamers out yesterday to test it out. Had to update my client. My Internet connection is killing me right now. Took 10-11 hrs to download patch to 7.10. My brother & myself decided we wanted to drop uogamers & go with Pandora. Now I guess I will have to repatch to get this blank screen to go away after logging in. Looks like if I start redownloading the patch now, I may get to play tomorrow sometime. Oh well, the things we do to keep playing UO...

This is getting old now... Just spend all night redownloading the client on my slow connection. Works okay but keep getting the silly message that I need to update to at least 7.07 minimum, just don't go past 7.08.02. So ran that update all day to get patch. Just finished canceling update to keep from going past 7.08.02.

Now I get the message, Cannot connect to UO at this time, try again in a few minutes.

Any ideas...would love to play but getting tired & frustrated.... Thanks....
