Ok so I noticed this shard from the top 200 list and it sounds amazing but i have one question...
I am using UOML and so i can play this shard and when i feel like helping friends and such i copied my UO folder and switched name iv done it b4 with other shards so i can play more then one that use different client patches or different folder mods, so far works great...
BUT i noticed this server requires 7.0.5 or something and that's fine but do i have to have the UOSA? or will my UOML patched to 7.0.5 work just the same ?
If not then ill have to uninstall and i wont be able to play on my previous shard :/

As long as you update your client to 7 0 5 then you are fine. You do not have to have the special stygian abyss package -- We are free to play and we mean that. If you do have ANY trouble go to PandoraUO.com and download the Uo Client free quick for free.

But you are fine just updating your client. If you have any trouble then download from the website and update will be no problem.

I downloaded the client from the Pandora home page and the game works fine but everytime while I am playing I get the following pop-up message:

Your client is out of date, please update your client.
This server recommends that your client be at least 7.0.5.0

You are currently using version 7.0.3.0

To patch, run UOPatch.exe inside your Ultima Online folder.

So I exit the game and double-click my UOPatch.exe in my UO folder and this is the message I get in the patcher's window:

Starting patch session...
Transferring patch information
Downloading patch uosa_win32_7-0-3-1.rtp( 519100 bytes )
Downloading patch uosa_win32_7-0-3-1.pat( 13 bytes )

I really need to get my client updated so the constant pop-up message reminding me to update doesn't keep popping up in the game, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Usually a error will be fixed after you reboot UO Client or the Computer. If it is still doing it for you, try doing a full reinstall.

Rebooting did not work but I did an uninstall, rebooted, re-installed and viola the patcher worked, thanks!

For not getting back to you sooner... but yes so far so good

HOWEVER I was just wondering why my client doesn't respond fairly often, like when i minimize uo or bring up my browser to vote when uo is "behind" something else pretty much ... doesn't happen every time but it does happen often?

UNfortunately, i have uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, defrag, turnedfirwalls off, done everything i can think off and i still cant seem to patch this servers client, ne suggestions cuz i rly want to get back to playing

with a little bit of stubborness i figured it out, gd vista ='s run as administrator, now its patching fml good day

Yes it seems that a quick fix for Vista users would be to go into your UOSA directory and right-click on "client.exe" then click "Run As Administrator". It worked for me, and the above post.
