Lol, ELV did have quite a few RP'ers in the guild. In fact they even started as an RP guild. God only knows what they are now. But out of the guilds you listed, only Men and Fate were true PvP guilds. BoA were nothing but a gank squad that rarely killed anyone that had 2 brain cells to knock together. I was kicked from ObO, then spent a longggggg time simply griefing them in Fel.

From what I remember ELV PvP'ers didn't fly that as their tag, I forget what the tag was..... been many many moons since then.

I quit the same day that TriX was nerfed, no more WAKA style tactics

ObO was the first guild I was in, on Europa. I got kicked for calling the GM a tool (or words to that effect.)

Joined ELV (or their PvP co-guild (I've slept since then)) with TriX, I know The Reaper was in ELV. And FYI, ELV only recruited so many trammies/RP'ers to get to the top of the server rankings. That doesn't mean that the whole guild followed the RP stuff. The GM at the time of it's height was into stats, theory crafting and general BS. Not that there's anything in particular wrong with that. And besides, cannon fodder is a proven military tactic

Quit UO after countless nerfs to every template I ever had. Got fed up of spending 60mill on a suit, then for it to become worthless in a month.

And as far as servers go, Europa had some of THE worst PvP talent going. Even Drachenfels was better. If your unbeaten on Atl, Chessy or Sonoma (up until the time WAKA left, then it went downhill) then you really can say your good. Europa however had 4-5 good players, and the rest were just lame. Personally I'd love to see Stelios 1v1 any of !Blacklisted!, ie Haxx, Munky Bhoi, the list goes on.

Shit, I remember the week before I left Sonoma, being part of a 30-man raid on the People's Army of Sonoma (PAS) who popped a harry in destard. There must have been over 200 people trying to get a piece of that pie. And this was only back in 2005 when that many people in one place was virtually unheard of. "King Joker", my beloved stealth archer, loved that day!

Anyway, this is all far away from the OP. Basically, Stelios, you got chat banned for being a jerk. Simples!

I've now come to reilize, thanks to this post, why chat bans were necesary at times.... Though abused (Which is what this post was SUPPOSED to be about).... Necesary. :|  :roll: *sigh*

Let me make this clear. No Staff has any character, we have 0 time to play and we run the shard would be no fun. Only person who does have a char is counselor and they by no means pvp.


2nd Stellios is sitting in jail and gonna sit on a week chat ban for calling people faggots, that word is not allowed in game nor on forum.


3rd chat bans are auto, not many times do staff give in with chat bans. If the filter thinks your talking smack over global, any kind of cuss word, any negativity it thinks your talking about someone or the shard it will give a automatic chat ban.

We are the only large shard I know of with a wide global chat in place. It is a privilege and in 1 click of the mouse I can take it away. If you cannot handle the 5 min chat bans (even if you feel the filter did you wrong, it happens) then you can not use global chat or go play somewhere else.

We have had it the same for well over a year, it works.
