No one cares?

Ok, I was told to bring this to the forums and that no one cares if you like to hunt in Trammel and obviously if you do, it is because you aren't a vet, have no idea of the history of this game, want to farm in easy mode and have everything handed to you.

I need to set some people straight on this.  I started playing UO with the release of 2nd age, before trammel, before massive secure storage containers in houses, with dread lords, etc.  I spent hours upon hours in the lich room, farming gold for my first house, stupidly losing half the money to a scammer, dodging the groups of reds and their blue healers.  Killed a few but died to more.  Met some I really respected, others not so much.  

Was it fun? Oh yea.  Loved it. Have played most MMOs after and nothing has compared.  When my friends and I get together and discuss games, the discussion always returns to UO.  I may like to PVP occasionally but that doesn't mean I want to do it all the time.  Just because I want to go do some hunting to relax doesn't mean I know nothing about the history of UO and only want to farm.

And this is the main reason I picked this shard.  To each their own.  Of course, after getting here I found a very good community and amazing GMs and support.

I remember that ridiculous lich room. And when mining meant running 90% of the time. I much prefer this. Especially with skill gain and all being accelerated. No sense in getting the grass all dirrty when you can make a super beast pk'r in a day or two

Still have the orcs masks and orc mines but I remember having to go with able to fight in some way with blacksmithy too.

I stand by what I said. There is plenty of trammel, plain and simple. If you're demanding for more trammel areas then you're obviously overlooking the reason trammel was implemented in the first place.

I still say no one wants to listen to you complain about how it's not easier to farm your items without watching your back.

i took it as him saying he prefers to pvm and occasionally pvp and doesn't care for the labelling he gets as a result of his playstyle choicws

I'm looking forward to correcting some things that OSI has set up. Various spawners, hunting hot spots, and what not. Just some things I know that are missing, and I am sure you do too. But to keep it a surprise, just keep looking around. Maybe it will pop up from day to day. <wink>

fel, malas, ilshenar and fel t2a are the current fel rules facets ... also the tokuno dojo and mines areas where ToT events are held

plenty of room that way for folks to play tram or fel rulesets, and an opportunity, given that the majority of pk's/pk guilds on here are fairly decent, for folks who have only ever pvm'd elsewhere, to start to try their hand at pvp

keep your eyes on forum posts since this is an active and positively evolving shard so things are changed, and there are going to be regular updates, for now at least every 1-3 weeks

Ok Orange_Peel, I will bite.  Why do you think Trammel was added?  

Also, on a side note, I never once asked for more land with the Trammel ruleset, just hoping for a balance.  And as for easy farming, I do my resource gathering in Felucia.  If I want some adventure where I have to watch my back at all times, I will go to Felucia.  If I want to just do some mindless running around killing things I hunt in Trammel based lands.

I would like to say, being a player since release, that not all vets enjoy getting attacked while trying to do a little hunting. Most PvPers that want to complain about Trammel and those who don't want PvP aren't good at PvP themselves and complain because they no longer have people to gank and are forced to fight other PvPers who are actually skilled.
