Publish 3 Final: July 12th, 2010

It has been yet another long week under the hood of the PandoraUO server. Things where a bit rough. But we kicked the server around a bit, and got the results we wanted. So as any other update, here is Publish 3. Enjoy


Systems
  -- Working on a Automatic PvP Event Engine, to house a variety of PvP events.
  -- You can now put Castles and Keeps in Malas.
  -- Cosmetic changes on how you get to Medusa.
  -- Cosmetic changes on how you get to Stygian Dragon.
  -- Champion Spawn creatures will no longer give anti-virtue items and paragon artifacts.
  -- Rough Stones now removed from the Mining System. And moved to peerless boss loot.
  -- New improved rune imbuing system put into place.

ITEMS
  -- Hides can be cut in your backpack again.
  -- When shrinking Greater Dragons, they will have the proper statue ID.
  -- Power Scrolls: You can acquire Mysticism, Imbuing and Throwing PS.
  -- The Donation Luck Deed can be used on Jewelry as well as clothing.

NPCS
  -- Medusa recieved a update to her AI again, and a now uses her bow effects. (Composite Bow) weapon abilities.
  -- You will be able to lore Iron Beetles.
  -- Updated Stygian Dragons AI and Abilities. He will be avalible for testing.
  -- Air Elementals now drop imbuing resource Air Essence
  -- Fire Elementals now drop imbuing resource Fire Essence
  -- Earth Elementals now drop imbuing resource Earth Essence
  -- Water Elementals now drop imbuing resource Water Essence
  -- Acid Elementals now drop imbuing resource Toxic Essence
  -- Peerless boss's now drop rough stone as a part of their loot.

QUESTS
 -- The Blighted Grove quest "Bound to the Land" which gives you the keys for Lady Melisande was bugged as you know. Turns out it was attached to another quest chain, (which it was not sapposed to). This is corrected now. Make sure to cancle your quest, and pick it up again.

DUNGEONS
 -- Cleaned up some issues with Prism of Light (Felucca)
 -- Rearranged a few spawns in Spider Cave (Ilshenar)
 
DONATION ITEMS
  -- Portable Forge & Anvil now work correctly in your backpack. The smithing menu now notices them.

FACTIONS
  -- Your faction will now display when people mouse over your character in all facets.

SPELLS
  -- Updated Fireball to do its normal damage vs monsters.
  -- Updated Wither to do its normal damage vs monsters.

Sorry for the newb question, new to the server and I played UO until 2001, but I am not certain how donation items work.

I would love to have a portable forge/anvil but not certain how to get one.

Since this shard is a free shard it only exists because people donate real money to help keep it running.  There is a giant collection of things you can donate for in the coin/donation moongate.

You'll have to:
1. PM "Konstantine" in-game and let him know you'd like them.
2. Head over to the in-game donation room and figure out the total you need to donate for your items... In this case I think $24 ($12-each), but double check that.
3. Go to the donation page on the Pandora [url="http]Web site[/url] and find an item or items that add up to your donation amount.

After that, wait for Kon to receive the payment and he'll put them in your pack.

Means we need to actualy summon them, like other peerless bosses?

The Stygian dragon was in the right location and didn't seem to require doing anything special, but I haven't seen Medusa since the change.  Also, the dragon had no peerless type loot.  I thought they'd at least have some of the ingredients.  Either way, it was an epic battle.

Also, I can't seem to find Navery Night-Eyes.  The location on the map only has 2 greater dragons spawn when you enter.  Do they have to be killed to summon her?
