Im in the far northern reaches of Canada, and it's located in Texas, but it still sails as smooth as a boat on calm water for me!

I live in California so that's pretty close. I do frequently get short pauses while playing.. and it's not the world save. Is everyone else getting those too?

Now that I've brought it up I've noticed it quite more. Frequently get short pauses while moving around and what not. They even last as long as 1+ seconds. Quite disappointing considering I like this shard and plan to pvp in the future.

I did have those little laggy bits before one of our admins put in a new system. But its all smooth sailing now. And i play alot and haven't had any lag issues for some time now. Best suggestion i can make is try running through assist uo instead of razor. I'm testing it right now myself, but its suppose to be smoother than razor.

I doubt you will be slower than anybody else when it comes to pvp, and really the bottom line is your pet can keep up with you when your running mounted at full speed using its little teleporty thing.
When ping gets high this mechanism fails and you leave it behind so use it as your measure :]

I don't know man... feels pretty bad actually. Frequently get pauses while running. Didn't notice it yesterday (first day) as all I did was train on the elementals. Now that I'm raising taming and got myself a horse it's much more noticeable.

My ping averages are between 120-260. What are some of yours? I'd imagine some of yours are higher than mine because you guys live in another country.

i have also been experiencing these pauses lately.  i recently changed some of the networking in my house and the room I'm in now runs on power-line adapters.  hd streaming of hulu and netflix is great.  UO hangs just for a sec but definitely often enough to be noticeable.  thought maybe it was me changing my own setup.  glad I'm not only one.  my ping to the server IMO is good.  I dint know what causes this.
