Razor not working..

I have windows 8 and UOAssist did not work. I am now getting a Memory error from Razor something about packets. I'm not very good with this, I'm used to regular sphere not really a fan of runuo ^^;; But yeah, help would be appreciated. I have MSN messenger or skype either would be more useful than forums really. e.e;

1. try install .NET v1.1 and V2.0
2. try having razor, uo,client.exe run as admin and in winxp sp3 mode
3. if that doesnt help, hopefully someone pro on using razor could help ya out, i will google a bit more, but feel free to pm me a screenshot of what error message you get

the packet message sometimes also can occur if u are trying to use the enhanced client

Classic client got that fixed now its saying can't use the server or some shit that it cant contact it..:\

Are you running it as administrator?   Also beleive it or not sometimes when i have had problems I log in on my comp as a guest and it runs fine...LOL

Razor has had two recent updates lately, so someone is taking the time to keep it updated.....Nigel

My buddy was having these same issues for like a month before he could get on he doesn't even know what he did to fix it but it just started to work

Yeah, and its working really good now, I noticed my client hasn't crashed since the last update, so I'm starting to suspect razor was my issue all along...Nigel

I am a bigger fan of Assist anyways life without auto loot was terrible   Grabbing all those little mats and gems manually was a pain

Grab works great, don't need uoassist for that.....Nigel

i couldn't get razor to work either.  ended up launching in uoassist. 

i don't regret it.  it's... different, but that can be a good thing after 10+ years of playing razor-styled UO. 

and yea the automated functions in uoassist are more powerful, for better or for worse.  i prefer that myself.
