Need Assistance

Hello,

I created a character today (using the enhanced client) when I arrived in game I was greeted by a gump saying the character name I had chosen was already in use and to type a new name. I selected a new name but the character name didn't change...I am now known as Generic Player.

Can someone on staff help me out?
