i'm intrigued.

i've just been reading up about high seas.  so there's big boats, which i'm sure will have some novelty value, and cannons, which i'm a bit dubious about.  what new pvp does high seas include?  can i capture someone else's ship by boarding it and killing them, or do i have to shoot them with a cannon first?  is there some skill involved in using a cannon, like distance, windspeed, angle?  or does it home in like a missile?  how do i take ownership (excuse the pun) of their boat?  or do i just destroy it?

what facet will this play out in?  i think lev already said in another post that he hopes it's fel-only.  i second that.

i also recall reading some post on stratics uhall about people crying about how many regular fish it takes to get a big boat.  should we be saving regular fish now in preparation?

i know you've said it'll be much better than osi's high seas, i'm just trying to get my questions in early!

Also, the Youtube video i have a link posted to has the character show a bit how the cannons work. In my opinion, they seem like alot of work, you have to clean them, place them, load them with specific ammo, aim them, ect ect. But i dont know what kind of damage they do (Only research (or the update to Pandora) will tell)

It will be much simpler than OSI -- the questions your asking Kronen are good detailed ones, but to detailed.

Were not sure exactly what PvP style were gonna use with them. The main thing is there will be new sea monsters that you can only get to with a boat, like a peerless with awesome loot, and in the fel worlds that will start a seas battle.

They will be allowed in all facets, people will also use them as a houses


We will figure the best way to go about it all -- You can read High Seas on UoGuide but just for visuals, do not really read on "how" it works, cause that's the OSI system and I think it's silly

Also, Scalis can destroy your boat aswell as the players on it.... I've been curious where you go if your boat gets destroyed. Do you just lay in the middle of the ocean with a giant Peerless boss looking down at you and 50 Parasitic eels surounding you? Cause that would suck
