Introduction

Mini Champions (also called "Renowned") are found in the Abyss (Ter Mur). Compared to a normal Champion Mini Champ spawns are usually easier to kill and each one drops mats and most have a chance to drop Artifacts. You find more infos on Artifacts here: ArtifactLocations

How does a Mini Champ Spawn work?

Basically these spawns consist of not so many monsters as regular champ spawns. The spawns are also progressive, so in order to summon the mini champion you have to kill a certain amount of monsters on each level. But there are no altars, no candles. You just need to kill the spawning creatures. Once you killed enough of them, the mini champion will spawn!

How do I kill a Mini Champion?

Usually a Mini Champ is much easier to kill than a regular champ. At most of them you can just use your pet and attack the champ with melee or range weapons. Some of the mini champs have special abilities or attributes (see below).

Once the champ is dead you can loot his corpse, where you can find imbuing materials and maybe also an abyss artifact.

Where do I find the Mini Champion Spawns?

All Mini Champions spawn in the Abyss (Ter Mur). On Pandora you can recognize such a spot, when you see a line of small pedestals. On those are example statuettes of the mini champ spawn and you will also find a statuette of the mini champ himself!

Pixie Renowned

Level 1: Pixies

Level 2: Wisps

Level 3: Dark Wisps

Champion: Pixie Renowned

Loot: Fairy Dust, Chaga Mushrooms, Essence of Feeling, Rough Stones

Be careful because you can lose karma when fighting the spawn and the champ. Also you might watch out for spell casting and debuffs! Slayer: Fey

Wyvern Renowned

Level 1: Corpres

Level 2: Parasitic Eels

Level 5: Fairy Dragons

Champion: Wyvern Renowned

Loot: Essence of Persistence, Void Orbs, Essence of Diligence, Fairy Dust, Undying Flesh, Boura Pelts, Rough Stones

This is one of the harder mini champs, especially for new players. Set your pet on guard and beware for high damage. Slayer: Reptile

Fire Elemental Renowned

Level 1: Fire Ants

Level 2: Lava Lizards

Level 3: Hell Hounds

Level 4: Lava Elementals

Champion: Fire Elemental Renowned

Loot: Essence of Passion, Essence of Precision, Essence of Order, Lava Serpent Crust, Daemon Claw, Rough Stones

The champ himself is easy to kill with or without a pet. Be careful in the spawn, especially when the last wave spawns: high fire damage guaranteed! There you can use Animated Weapons (Mysticism) and set them on guard! Slayer: Elemental, Fire Elemental

Devourer of Souls Renowned

Level 1: Mongbats

Level 2: Imps

Level 3: Pit Fiends

Level 4: Daemons

Champion: Devourer of Souls Renowned

Loot: Void Orbs, Essence of Achievement, Rough Stones

In the spawn you might take care of the Imps, because they are good casters. Kill the champ as you like it! Slayer: Demon

Fire Daemon Renowned

Level 1: Lava Lizards

Level 2: Lava Snakes

Level 3: Fire Ants

Level 4: Lava Serpents

Level 5: Hell Hounds

Level 6: Fire Daemons

Level 7: Lava Elementals

Champion: Fire Daemon Renowned

Loot: Essence of Order, Essence of Passion, Lava Serpent Crust, Daemon Claw, Raptor Teeth, Rough Stones

Be careful in the spawn, high fire damage and casting! Slayer: Demon

Ancient Lich Renowned

Level 1: Wraiths

Level 2: Skeletal Mages

Level 3: Liches

Level 4: Lich Lords

Champion: Ancient Lich Renowned

Loot: Silver Snake Skins, Void Orbs, Essence of Direction, Undying Flesh, Nox Crystals, Rough Stones

This is an easy spawn, although you should be careful because of constant spell casting. Slayer: Undead

Skeletal Dragon Renowned

Level 1: Skeletons

Level 2: Patchwork Skeletons

Level 3: Skeletal Mages

Level 4: Bone Magi

Level 5: Bone Knights

Level 6: Liches

Level 7: Lich Lords

Champion: Skeletal Dragon Renowned

Loot: Essence of Singularity, Essence of Direction, Essence of Persistence, Undying Flesh, Nox Crystals, Rough Stones

Also here beware of the spell casting. Patchwork Skeletons may dismount and stun you for a few seconds. Slayer: Reptile, Dragon

Enslaved Goblins Renowned (Two Mini Champs)

Level 1: Corpres

Level 2: Enslaved Goblin Mages

Level 3: Enslaved Goblin Alchemists

Level 4: Enslaved Goblin Keepers

Level 5: Enslaved Goblin Scouts

Level 6: Enslaved Gray Goblins

Level 7: Enslaved Green Goblins

Champions: Gray Goblin Mage Renowned, Green Goblin Alchemist

Notes: There are two mini champs. The second will spawn after you defeated the first champ!

Loot: Void Orbs, Essence of Control, Luminiscent Fungi, Crystal Shards, Goblin Blood, Rough Stones

The champs are easy to kill. Also the spawn is not hard, although the goblins are strong in hitpoints. They may spread around, so make sure you catch them all! Slayer: Repond

Acid Elemental Renowned

Level 1: Corrosive Slimes

Level 2: Acid Slugs

Level 3: Acid Elementals

Level 4: Interred Grizzles

Champion: Acid Elemental Renowned

Loot: Essence of Singularity, Essence of Precision, Seeds of Renewal, Rough Stones

This can be a hard spawn for new players. Note that the creatures will spit their acid on your gear/weapons, making the durability hit down quickly! At the champ use range weapons or spellbooks and let your pet attack the champ. Slayer: Elemental, Acid Elemental

Rakktavi Renowned (Ratman Chieftains)

Note: There also two other Ratman (Vitavi and Tikitavi). Stay at Rakktavi, for he is easier and has a good loot!

Level 1: Clockwork Scorpions, Leather Wolves, Toxic Sliths

Level 2: Clanchitters

Level 3: Clanchitters

Level 4: Clanchitters

Champion: Clanchitter Chieftain

Loot: Seeds of Renewal, Reflective Wolf Eyes, Arcanic Runestones, Crystal Shards, Crushed Glass, Powdered Iron, Delicate Scales, Abyssal Cloth, Elven Fletching, Rough Stones

This is a very easy spawn, good for new players to collect materials. Use your pet, set it on guard and kill. Slayer: Repond
